![]() ![]() ![]() | So what does kohones have to do with
occupations?Well, there are many legitimate ways to earn a livelihood in which
you cansatisfy that inexplicable need for risk taking. Getting dinero for a
chanceof excitement and the opportunity to live more or less on the edge!Sounds
good to us! At least until you break your neck, bust your spleen, get your head
blown off or finally get to answer to the big Boss "upthere".From the mundane, like washing windows on a skyscraper (we're talking fromthe outside) to Astronauts, which are the height of visibility and glamour,to everything in between ,you can find your passion. Risky occupations caneven be non-physical like day trading stocks- -got big ones to spec allyour money on trades? OOP's, wait, we forgot about that nut in Atlanta, seems that just like postal workers on the fringe, day trading can bephysically perilous- -if you don't see them coming. Let us not deceive you. As with some things in life, the most excitingjobs have more demand than supply. The lists of wanna be Navy Seals, SWAT,Coast Guard elite, etc. are long. If the lack of appropriate experiencedoesn't disqualify you, the intensive training likely will. If you reallywant it, it won't come easy. But don't dismay, there's always those windowsat your nearby skyscraper. Getting serious though, not all who
have kohonesJ to takerisks in their occupations do it just for the personal
thrill or adrenalinerush. There is a totally special glory for the many that put
their lives onthe line to save others. They break the boundariesJ of human
endurance andpotentially paralyzing fear to accomplish what at the time
seemedimpossible. We genuinely salute them. Maybe you have saved someone
oryourself been rescued from some nasty situation."A hero is no braver than an ordinary man, but he is brave five minuteslonger." Ralph WaldoEmerson Send us your stories, we want to know.
